Yeah, I brought you the strange `industrial' sounds of Kiev recently via my BS blog. And, these 2011 strange sounds began with the famous Florida incident which UDCC also covered Florida Sky Sound - then, I heard something similar myself in Atlanta. And, now, I bring you the continuing sky noises of 2011:

If you remember, we used SOUND in the first Gulf War to `soften' the Red Guard (is that what it was called?) of the Iraq forces. Even hearing this for a few minutes is scary in many ways - and one heck of a method to control the public too. It's as IF this stuff was being tested in some manner in March. I'd say, we should expect more high strangeness from the sky in 2011, how ahout you?

I was in Kiev in July and August and heard the sounds there. It was intense and strange. Shortly after the temp. dropped and storms rolled in. Now recently moving to Atlanta 3 weeks ago.. I hear them again, at first thinking perhaps they were shooting fire works at Peidmont Park.. but as it turned out they were not.
ReplyDeleteIt is a strange feeling I get with these noises.. although these two were different. The one in Kiev had not only a unique tone, but structure to it's sound, much like a fog horn on a large ship.
The Atlanta noise sounding like bombs going off.
Jennifer - WOW. Thanks so much for interacting on this blog - appreciated. BTW, the WOW is for CONFIRMING that the Kiev sound was even REAL. It sounded so strange and not real.

You are very welcome. I can tell you it was something I will never forget which is saying a lot, if had many strange experiences but the one in Kiev was surreal.
ReplyDeleteI have seen very little blogging about the noises in Atlanta, but on that night myself and my neighbors were on our lawns looking up and shaking our heads.
Interesting I had no idea this was the second one this year.. I'm in Midtown (VH) it was so strong here, at first I remember thinking, "well I suppose we are at war, might as well drink the koolaid not"...lol
I will be returning to the Ukraine end of the month.. hopefully the sounds will not be a repeat.. once was enough for me.
Did you experience anything here in ATL last night? We (my son and I) were woken up close to 3am with the doors and window rattling and my alarm system going off showing a break in on every window on one side of our house. Strange night. I didn't hear anything, except a door swinging back and forth and the rattling.

ReplyDeleteNope, not last night. I have heard `the sound' at night here in Atlanta but it's not house rattling - at least yet. I live north of town and not in the VH area.
