Hoodwinked - The Impossible UFO Picture

Earlier this year UDCC provided an idea for how to judge `reports' of UFO's, that included the idea of being very cautious of reports that could be the result of marketing to the church of UFOlogy. Meaning, that IMO, while the best source for UFO reports - a place like MUFON could also be the BEST place to simply BS everyone with stories and fakeness. The next picture and story - FRESH (the very latest report today) from MUFON's latest reports - is a prime example of it.

First, the report of the impossible UFO on 12-27 in California:Typical `They Didn't See It, Then' UFO Report - Followed by the EXTREMELY HARD TO BELIEVE PICTURE
I took several pictures with my cell phone of the moon over the mountain when I was waiting at a stop light in Tustin, CA. I didn't see the object until I reviewed my pictures the following morning. Out of seven pictures that I took, the object is only in one of them. I never saw this object with my naked eyes, and I am stunned and confused by this picture. My wife was with me in the car at the time that I took the pictures with my cell phone. We were talking about how beautiful the moon looked over the mountain. I showed her the pictures on my cell phone the next morning and we both don't know what to think. I have all of the pictures on my phone and they are time stamped and dated.

So, is it just complete BS? OR - is it possible that `things' that are simply unexpected (remember the Gorilla on the basketball court idea) are NOT seen typically - and may ONLY be caught like this on occasion of `instantaneous reality' of a picture? Something that I speculated at length before about in 2008 in my post called Could `Camera's' Be Capturing Or Actualizing A Virtual Reality?

  1. Hi Rick,
At first glance the picture does look like it's from a mobile phone or other such device. Poor quality and quite noisy due to the high ISO setting for low light. I just have a feeling some things not quite right (apart from the flying saucer)about it. In that lighting one would have quite a long exposure setting causing any movement to blur. None evident in the picture. The camera would have to be dead still and anything in frame would have to be almost stationary to stop streaking. The object in question IMO would almost have to have been stationary for it to resolve like it did. Most curious!
I'm no camera expert but I bet if ones consulted they may have similar comments. BS or real that is the question......
