Sorry, but this feels like CGI through and through. The texture of the craft is matte and has the same synthetic, granular look as modern sci-fi animation. Why would it be that such a revealing and dramatic video was not released until 2 months after the fact, after there had already been so much controversy surrounding it? Because it was an after-thought that took time to manufacture and wasn't original to the event. The 'camera shake' follows robotic sharp algorithms that just don't feel human, and the lens flare is too perfect. The fact that one guy is promoting himself as the authority and is slowly releasing these videos is suspicious enough..
I am troubled that this (apparently) comes from Eligael as I was under the impression that for the Jerusalem Event to be credible, then Eligael's original vid must be be genuine. Unless I am badly mistaken about something, it seems to me that if it turns out Eligael has submitted any hoaxed vid, the case immediately and finally falls.
So I am very troubled by this obviously faked vid. This looks nothing like any of the previous purported videos of this event (it is held out as a vid of the original Jerusalem Event, no?). The object in the other vids moved nothing at all like this, and it simply cannot be the same time and place.
Also, perhaps counter-intuitively, this video is far too crisp, and the production values much too high for me to feel comfortable about it. Sorry, unless someone can explain that this is an entirely different occasion (and that's just for starters), I'm afraid I have no choice but to move into the skeptic camp on the Jerusalem Event.
Oh, and I just read what Eligael said about this vid - that he had a whoooole lot more, about two minutes, but of course he couldn't show it (and why would that be?), but it'll blow our minds, etc.
Folks, we're being played like fish. This was a provocation from start to finish to smoke out the credulous and irrational. And they got me on the first one. But this is simply insulting.
For the love of all that is holy, please try to save a shred of dignity, and let's just give it up now. Because this was the final setting of the hook: he's going to start reeling in any minute now.
MUZ and Sully - thanks, of course. As you both should be aware, I'd like you to send me your personal e-mail via masters4ever@aol.com as I'd like to give both of you a chance to guest editorial here once in awhile. I will streamline your access if you do that.
Ok, MUZ, thanks for the links - I will be writing them up as part of my analysis today -- I also see I have several more e's (comments) and who knows where this thing has gone since 9PM last night.
If this UFO event were real, there would be more independent witnesses, and independent web cams around Jerusalem would have at least captured the flash and possibly the craft. This new video makes the case even less credible, and is most certainly a CGI hoax. The problem I have with this whole case is there really is no reason to believe that it is a true event, everything from the video to the behavior of the witness has been suspect from day one, yet everybody is eating it up and treating it like there some credibility attached to it, but there's not, and this new video just solidifies that.
nhuforesearch - First, I thank you for your comment. Appreciated.
I have no axe to grind -- as anyone who has looked at unexplained sky phenomena can find dozens of Orb videos daily -- it is the SPECIALNESS of this Orb experience IMO.
That said, I'd kindly ask you to read the summary I did today of my views and at the same time delve into the 54 links background I provide too -- then, you may be in a better position to comment about a very complex case. (At least it's aftermath.)
I would like to be wrong, but I'm almost in complete agreement with Jum on this (my gut feeling is the same as his), he summed up my perception on this succinctly.
I've been a skywatcher for 15 years and have seen numerous anomalous craft personally, so I am not one to be a skeptic. I'm just honest with everyone and myself and this one feels like a set up.
Twas Brillig, - thanks for you adding your POV too. Appreciated.
Eligael could be playing us or being played is ONE possibility, granted. Many possibilities exist and gravitating to one POV or another in this case is very easy and easy to defend.
OK, I don't get it. The UFO in this video is over the Dome for about 18 seconds before it takes off but the other videos of the orb over the Dome of the Rock show it hovering for over 20 seconds. It seems like the time duration should be the same.
This is CGI. I did CGI for commercials and the lighting and distances seem off. The disc feels too close to the camera to have the drastic lighting effect on the dome. Not to mention the sharp cone of light coming down from the vehicle. He used a wide angled spot light to create this effect but the edge of the cone should have a more gradual falloff. His first attempt at compositing with maya. George Lucas will not be employing him at ILM anytime soon.
all i can say is real or hoax...WOW!!! ;)))
