Welcome to the first installment of the UFO Disclosure Countdown Clock blog - the NEW once a month side-blog of www.theheavystuff.com . This blog is patterned upon the idea of other websites `countdown clocks' - be it a clock for `the end of the world', rapture indexes, etc. Specifically, once a month this blog will update the `Ufo Disclosure Countdown Clock' - as it approaches or recedes from the full government disclosure about Ufo's that many citizens seek.
Indeed, in 2007 the media has reported that 14% of all US citizens had `seen a ufo'. While this figure does not indicate if the `sighting' was anything other than a `light in the sky' or a close-up `there it is' saucer shaped craft -- the figure is staggering. No wonder, depending on how the question is asked of the public, that up to 50%+ of all Americans `believe' that UFO's `exist'.
But, neither of these questions (and answers with a specific % of responders) asked the deeper question --- what is `behind' these crafts? Neither goes deeper into asking the respondents the ultimate question about UFO's - that being - if the Ufo `is a government craft run by humans' OR - if the `crafts are run by non-humans'. THAT, of course, is the real UFO question to be resolved for the public. One can expect that the crafts will be confirmed before non-humans are confirmed as the drivers of these objects.
Those who are fans of The Heavy Stuff - know that just last month in a posting - picked up by great anomaly sites like www.anomalist.com and others -- the Countdown Clock was initially set at 11:51 pm -- perhaps the closest to midnight in quite a while. As readers know, last month saw a huge media blitz on Ufo's - from press conferences with `authorities' disclosing close encounters , TV debates with Ufo questions for candidates - more Larry King specials and more (while ignoring for all purposes the one year anniversary of the O'Hare Ufo Incident) - readers know that makes for good TV during sweeps. BUT, those `interests' of the media have been replaced -- as all followers of this type of `disclosure' know - the media's interest is always fleeting at best. Throw a few tidbits for the `believers', while smirking every moment. (You must see Fox's Chris Wallace's smirk when asking about Ufo's - priceless.) So, YES, the clock is already receding, from midnight and disclosure, on it's very first official monthly placement of the minute and hour hand.
So, sky watchers, let's have some fun with this - feel free to comment about where YOU think the clock should be set. How would YOU rate the criteria that goes into this subjective setting.

I'm sure I won't be the only person to ask this, and I'm a bit surprised I'm the first, but does this overlap the disclosure clock at Paradigm Research Group?

Jeff - Thanks so much for your comment and making me aware of the 'original clock' -- I appreciate it. I'd agree with your feeling that the setting on that clock is running a bit fast. I also will `fill in' my feelings about where the clock might have been in the past in future postings on this website.
ReplyDeleteI will treat this website much more `lightly' and move the clock often as 2008 comes into being. I have a feeling that until the next TV ratings sweep (assuming another O'Hare Ufo Incident doesn't happen) that this `unofficial' clock will keep moving towards NOON not midnight.
That said, if the EVENTS are more than the coverage they deserve - thereby building pressure (much like the O'Hare event) then the clock may move to a much closer setting.
Finally, this clock may not strike midnight without a full `coming clean' - by that I mean - I have a feeling that the powers that be may gradually admit that `something' is going on - rather than say -- YES, there are UFO's of non human origin. That will move us all part of the way and will let the media sort out the possibilities.
